Delainy D. Quintero ATC, LAT, CSCS,CGFI-MP2

 Research Team

Delainy Quintero is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who specializes in golf research, injuries, performance enhancement, and biomechanics.  He is also Certified Golf Fitness Instructor Level 2 Medical Professional through the Titleist Performance Institute.  Delainy completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences with an emphasis in Athletic Training at Florida International University (FIU).  He returned to FIU to attend graduate school for a Master of Science degree in AthleticTraining/Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Golf Biomechanics. During his time as a graduate student he conducted a research study at Florida International Golf Academy and Biomechanics Laboratory on golf biomechanics titled Differences in Spinal Kinematics between Low and High Handicap Golfers. Delainy will be presenting his research at the Southeastern Athletic Trainers' Association Clinical Symposium in Panama City Beach, Florida in March 2009 and the National Athletic Trainers' Association Conference in San Antonio, Texas in June 2009.  Delainy has over 10 years of experience in the athletic training profession.  He is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Felix Varela Senior High School in Miami-Dade.
